Toyota Maintenance

All Technicians in charge of your Toyota maintenance go through a training system called TEAM (Technical Education for Automotive Mastery) in which they are categorized according to their skill level, and given appropriate training for that level of skill. Once the required technical skills have been mastered, technicians write factory-authorized Certification Exams. Upon successful completion of each level, they are presented with certificates and badges denoting their stature... Technician, Pro Technician, or Master Technician.
The Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) supports five community colleges across Canada with resources and training aids to teach an exclusively Toyota technical program. Students use the same special tools and equipment used in the dealership, and they work on nearly new Toyota vehicles. Prior to graduating, they have the opportunity to complete the first level of Toyota TEAM training, which qualifies them as a Toyota Technician. Once employed at a Toyota Dealership, they can continue their training to the Pro and Master Technician level. T-TEP has been very successful at recruiting talented young people into the Toyota dealer network. |
