The 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback caused quite the stir when it was announced a few months ago. Unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, the new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback promises impressive versatility and dynamic driving with a host of new features.
A structure that changes everything in the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback
For starters, the new Toyota Corolla Hatchback will be built on Toyota's new TNGA platform. The latter has several advantages starting with how it can enable a dynamic and sporty drive thanks to a lowered center of gravity, among other features. With the TNGA platform, we have more fun driving our Toyota in addition to enjoying improved comfort.
Under the hood, the 2019 Toyota Corolla will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine whose power numbers are not yet known. We do know that a six-speed manual gearbox with rev-matching will be available. There is no doubt that the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback will be a real charm to drive.
“The Corolla has been a legendary success for Toyota – and now it’s time for a new vehicle to join the Corolla family and write the next chapter in that legend,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “The all-new, 2019 Corolla Hatchback represents an unprecedented change to the Corolla. The result is a very sporty design with the powertrain and handling to ensure it’s absolutely as fun as it looks – and a whole lot more.”
The new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback will also feature a range of advanced safety features with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 system. This is a new generation of TSS that includes even more driver assistance features.
