This year’s Tundra line is generating excitement with new capabilities and several package upgrades across a full range of eight models. With up to 4,535 kg of towing capacity, this truck is ready to work for you. Whether you require the pulling power of a 4x2, abundant premium features available in the Platinum models, or something in between, the Tundra has a model that will be the workhorse you need.
The 2019 Toyota Tundra has prominent exterior features and packages
The rugged exterior generates head-turning curb appeal with its chiseled form. However, the Tundra’s standard equipment, such as LED daytime running lights and power heated and folding exterior mirrors, add practical capabilities year-round.
The fun of owning a Tundra is adding one (or more) of the generous exterior packages to add the finishing touches. The SX Package upgrades select models with glossy black 18” wheels, a black grille, and more. The TRD Offroad Package includes fuel tank protector plates, Bilstein shock absorbers, 18” offroad alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, and clearance sensors, aside from other equipment. Other packages such as the TRD Sport Package and TRD Pro offer even more features that are too long to list here.
The heart of the 2019 Toyota Tundra
All pickup owners can agree that the heart of a truck is its engine, and Toyota ensures the Tundra has a big one. Most models have the reliable and proven 5.7L I-FORCE V8 engine that delivers a load-pulling 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. The paired six-speed transmission uses sequential shift mode for better performance.
Models that have the 5.7L engine include many additional features such as Toyota’s Tow Package, trailer brake controller, lock-up torque converter, and a generous 144L fuel tank. Four-wheel drive models have active traction and trailer sway controls along with a one-touch 4WD mode.
Each Tundra model is spacious and has the right standard equipment so you can be comfortable wherever you work or drive. The Display Audio System with touchscreen simplifies communication and information. Bluetooth, USB inputs, and wheel-mounted controls add more convenience. There are many more standard and safety features that you will experience when you take your favourite model for a test drive.
Vimont Toyota is proud to offer the Toyota Tundra. Contact us today to arrange your personal demonstration and test drive of our well-equipped models.
