The Supra has always been synonymous with power and performance at Toyota. And for 2020, the automaker brings it back with a list of advanced technologies, but still the same bold character that makes it the ultimate track beast
The design of the 2020 Toyota Supra GR is of unparalleled lightness and rigidity. The weight of the car is perfectly balanced. At the rear a lip helps increase aerodynamic downforce while accentuating the style of the Supra. At the front, beautiful LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights and turn signals give the Supra’s new face a very bold look that will certainly turn heads wherever you go.
Quite an engine under the hood of the 2020 Toyota Supra GR
Under the hood of the 2020 Toyota Supra GR we find a 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder engine that delivers 335 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. For maximum dynamism, an 8-speed automatic transmission transmits power to the rear wheels. The engine is characterized by its dual-scroll compressor that provides torque almost instantaneously, while the eight-speed gearbox provides ultra-fast gear changes with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Thanks to all this, the Toyota Supra GR is able to go from 0 to 96 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
When it comes to the chassis, drivers can rely on a sport-tuned adaptive power steering, 19 "forged alloy wheels, and 4-piston Brembo brake calipers painted in red, as well as an adaptive variable suspension with sporty shock absorbers with dynamic control.
Comfort and technology go hand in hand in the cabin of the Supra GR
Inside the new Supra, there are a host of standard features, such as two-zone automatic climate control, a Smart Key system with push-button start, carbon fiber interior trim, a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum sill plates and 14-way driver and passenger seats with memory system. For audiophiles, there's also a 42-watt, 12-speaker JBL audio system with an 8.8-inch display, integrated Sirius XM Satellite Radio and Apple CarPlay.
The Toyota Supra has never been so beautiful, so powerful, and so fast. Come take a ride at Vimont Toyota to learn more about this reborn icon.
