As good as the Toyota Corolla is, Toyota has found a way to improve it for 2023 - believe it or not. There are new hybrid versions, new interior technologies and a refreshed style.
Four hybrid versions
Four hybrid versions are available for 2023, including three new versions that add to last year’s LE front-wheel drive model: THE AWD, SE AWD and XSE AWD.
Yes, you read right, all three versions now have all-wheel drive, which is a first for the Corolla hybrid. And it’s state-of-the-art technology: instead of a drive shaft to the rear wheels, it’s an electric motor that powers the rear wheels, improving cornering stability and reducing rear wheel slip.
A look to thrill
Depending on the finish, the 2023 Corolla receives a number of stylistic changes to differentiate itself from the previous year’s model. There are redesigned LED headlights on the SE and XSE versions as well as a new rear diffuser and 18-inch graphite rims, a new rear bumper design on the LE, as well as new colors for sedan and hatchback models.
Next generation multimedia
An 8-inch infotainment screen is now standard on all Corolla models, and serves as the centrepiece of a brand new system that can receive live updates.
It also allows wireless use of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as optional Toyota Connected Services that can help you find points of interest, a cloud-based navigation that updates live to help you avoid traffic in front of you as well as a Toyota smart assistant that will answer a number of commands via the "Hey Toyota" command. Your assistant can help you find the nearest grocery store or gas station, while the Safety Connect app can automatically notify Toyota in the event of an accident.
Safety Sense 3.0
The latest version of Toyota’s Safety Sense Driver Assistance Suite offers in-track C of G assistance, can read road signs, offers adaptive radar cruise control and can activate automatic high beam lights.
All this and more is waiting for you in the 2023 Corolla, so come visit us and see one for yourself!
