The 2019 Toyota C-HR is coming back this year with a number of improvements including a more affordable starting price, new versions, new colors and enhanced standard equipment. With the C-HR, you get all the space you need with impressive fuel economy as well.
Notable improvements for the 2019 Toyota C-HR
The list of improvements to the Toyota C-HR is comprehensive. Let's take a closer look. For starters, Toyota's entry-level SUV is more affordable with a starting price of $ 23,675, about $ 2,000 less than the 2018 model.
All C-HRs are equipped with 17-inch wheels, keyless entry and Toyota Safety Sense P system which Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection function that provides forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist function, Automatic High Beams, and full speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Other standard safety features include the six active technologies of the Toyota Star Safety System, 10 airbags, a backup camera, direct tire pressure monitoring system, and more.
No other SUV in the C-HR category offers so much safety equipment at no additional cost. Under the hood, we get the same four-cylinder efficient engine with 144 horsepower and 139 pound-feet of torque that powered the previous C-HR.
Other changes to the C-HR include the addition of the rear-view camera, a windshield defrost system, Apple CarPlay and Entune 3.0.
“There’s nothing quite like the C-HR for its blend of distinct styling, amenities, and technology – plus incredible driving fun,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “In just its second year of production, we’re already enhancing our unique coupe/crossover with additional features and a selection of trim levels to make it even easier to find your perfect C-HR.”
