The all-new 2023 Toyota Crown arrives in Canada this year with an exceptional blend of efficiency, performance, refinement and cutting-edge technology. It will also be equipped with all-wheel drive in each model while offering an exceptional blend of comfort and driving pleasure.
Impressive hybrid powertrains
The all-new Crown is available in three categories: XLE, Limited and Platinum. All categories are equipped with an advanced integral electronic transmission system as standard. The new HYBRID MAX powertrain is a hybrid system that combines a 2.4-litre turbocharged gasoline engine with two electric motors (one at the front and one at the rear). The rear engine is located on a new electronically controlled eAxle that translates into an all-wheel drive system that guarantees the highest level of stability in any situation. This engine is one of the most powerful hybrid powertrains on sale today with 340 horsepower.
The impressive Toyota II hybrid system is available in all versions, with the exception of the Platinum finish. The THS system is the latest generation Toyota hybrid engine. It combines a new 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor.
The Toyota Hybrid System II has an average fuel consumption of only 6.2 litres per 100 kilometres. The powerful HYBRID MAX engine is not only fast, it is also very efficient with an average fuel consumption of only 8.4 liters per 100 kilometers.
Luxury abounds in the new 2023 Toyota Crown
The all-new Crown has a spacious and comfortable interior, with plenty of leg and head space for all passengers. The seats are covered with premium materials and the cabin is well insulated from outside noise. The Platinum model comes standard with a series of additional comfort and performance features that would take too long to list here.
The exterior design of the all-new Crown is both elegant and athletic. The sedan has a long hood, a short rear beach and a wide posture. The front has a large grille with chrome accents and standard LED headlights. The Platinum category is equipped with 21-inch wheels as standard and a unique bi-tone paint option.
The all-new Crown is packed with safety features and driver assistance. All categories come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system, which includes some of the most advanced driver assistance technologies and advanced safety systems.
Toyota’s all-new infotainment system is standard in all categories and includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen. This new system offers advanced voice commands for enhanced interactions, advanced navigation and live updates.
The all-new Toyota Crown is expected to go on sale in Canada in late 2022 and will be announced closer to the go-live date.
