The goal is to help parents looking for a vehicle for their teen make the best decision. To classify each vehicle, the IIHS and Consumer Reports used a wide range of factors, including IIHS safety ratings, Consumer Reports reliability ratings, and other factors such as braking distance.
This list is very attractive because it brings together vehicles that meet the criteria important for most parents. And since Toyota vehicles consistently stand out for their reliability and safety, it’s no surprise to find several vehicles on this list.
Several Toyota models recommended for teens
These vehicles include the Toyota Corolla Hatchback, Toyota Prius V, Toyota Highlander and Toyota Sienna. The Toyota Highlander includes all models from 2014 to today, while the Toyota Corolla includes models from 2019 to today.
