The Toyota Prius is one of the most popular and well-known hybrid cars since its launch in 1997. The all-new 5th-generation Toyota Prius 2023 was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and is a completely redesigned vehicle. It features a sporty exterior with a unidirectional silhouette, and all-wheel drive is standard in Canada. In addition, the name of the Prius will perpetuate Toyota’s commitment to carbon neutrality.
The 2023 Toyota Prius is built on the second-generation platform of the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) and offers a lower center of gravity and increased stiffness for improved performance and handling. The new Prius has a more athletic look, with a lowered roof line and larger standard wheels. Its hip is also 30 mm lower than the previous generation. All these elements combined improve the driver’s comfort and visibility.
5th generation hybrid powertrain
The all-new 2023 Toyota Prius is equipped with the fifth-generation hybrid powertrain, which develops 196 horsepower. This is a significant increase over the previous generation, which offered only 120 horsepower. The new hybrid powertrain is capable of delivering more power while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency.
Toyota Multimedia System
The 2023 Toyota Prius is also equipped as standard with the Toyota infotainment system with a 12.3-inch screen. This is the largest screen available in a Prius model to date. The infotainment system is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can stay connected while on the go.

The 2023 Toyota Prius is standard equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system, which is an advanced series of safety features including pre-collision warning, lane crossing warning, adaptive cruise control, and more.
