Introduced earlier this week, the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid promises exceptional efficiency and will certainly be one of the most anticipated new SUVs to hit the market this year. Toyota also announced changes across the 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid range, including improved infotainment technology and more safety features.
The new 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid
The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid will offer 194 hp thanks to its electrified powertrain. This is significantly more than the 169 hp offered by the entry-level Corolla Cross. Buyers can expect improved performance, but where this model will really shine is in the efficiency it will deliver. Buyers can expect an average fuel consumption of only 6.4 litres per 100 kilometres. This improves the fuel consumption rating of the current (already very economical) Corolla Cross by about one litre per 100 km with all-wheel drive. The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid will only be available with all-wheel drive. Four versions will be available, including two new SE and XSE models.
Other improvements to the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross include new safety technologies with the introduction of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. Toyota’s more advanced driver assistance technology suite includes new front impact assistance features that can protect motorcyclists and pedestrians, and improved urban safety with the introduction of automatic braking at intersections. If you are about to turn and another vehicle comes in the opposite direction, this system can warn you and brake if necessary.
The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross will also be equipped with a new infotainment system that can be controlled by natural voice controls and provides enhanced navigation capability. This new technology is one of the most advanced new infotainment systems on the market. It offers a much more enjoyable user experience for the driver and passenger, and it also guarantees the latest features with live updates.
