We can usually find the Hyundai Tucson near the top as well, although the RAV4 is usually ahead of its rival from Hyundai. One engine for the Toyota RAV4 that’s more powerful than the Hyundai Tucson
The Toyota RAV4 comes standard with a 2.5-liter, 203-horsepower, four-cylinder engine with an impressive 184 lb-ft of torque. In some versions, this engine can tow up to 3,500 pounds. This engine consumes only 9.2 liters per 100 kilometers in the city and 7.1 liters per 100 kilometers on the highway making it one of the most economical powertrains in its class.
The Hyundai Tucson offers two engines, the first being a four-cylinder 2.0-liter developing 161 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. The towing capacity of this engine is significantly lower and does not exceed 1,000 pounds. In addition, with a fuel consumption of 10.8 liters per 100 kilometers in the city and 9.2 liters per 100 kilometers on the highway, this engine has a higher average fuel consumption than the Toyota RAV4. The second engine in the Tucson develops 181 horsepower which is more than twenty hp less than the RAV4, and again it is less fuel-efficient.
In closing, the Toyota RAV4 offers more than 1,000 liters of cargo space in the trunk while the Hyundai Tucson offers only 878 liters of cargo space.
