With 55,921 units sold in 2022, the Toyota RAV4 has maintained its enviable position as Canada's best-selling vehicle outside the truck segment. This means that the RAV4 is more popular than any sedan or SUV on sale today, regardless of segment. Meanwhile, the Toyota Corolla sold 33,096 units - making it the best-selling car in Canada. This outstanding success is due in part to the remarkable number of trims and models available, including a hybrid version. The Corolla family truly has a model for every need.
The new Corolla Cross SUV and the Toyota Tundra truck were two other successes for Toyota in 2022. The Corolla Cross had a remarkable first full year of sales, with 9,263 units sold. Meanwhile, the Toyota Tundra sold 11,561 units - its second best year ever - offering Quebec buyers a reliable and safe pickup truck option.
