Entune is a collection of applications with several different functions that are offered in a wide variety of new Toyota vehicles. All of these applications are in one place and their ultimate goal is to make life easier for the owner and to ensure better safety and connectivity as well.
With Entune, you can access your favourite apps on your phone from your vehicle's centre display. You can also contact emergency services if you need to and get specific directions to your destination.
There are several features built into Entune. Here's a full rundown:
App Suite Connect
By downloading the Entune app to your cell phone, you can connect with your vehicle and combine the content of your smartphone with the multimedia system. Put simply, your phone transfers to your infotainment system and the apps you use most often will be much easier to access.
Scout GPS Link
The Scout GPS Link app gives real-time directions, and better yet, helps you avoid traffic jams in your path. More than a navigation system, Scout GPS Link is a guide tailored to your needs and can connect you to a real person who can help when needed. The system works in symbiosis with the Destination Assist app. This allows you to connect with an agent who can help you find a destination such as a restaurant, gas station, etc. You will get the directions directly on your central screen.
Safety Connect
Safety Connect service, as its name suggests, is there to reassure you and come to your aid when needed. Safety Connect is there in the event of an accident and can send assistance by determining the position of your vehicle. With Safety Connect, there is always someone to help you.
