When you enter your new Toyota, you can’t miss it: an extra-wide 14-inch multimedia screen, the largest ever seen on a Toyota. Its swept surface is huge, but more than that, it is the center of a completely redesigned infotainment system that goes far beyond a large screen.
In addition to its size, the touch interface is more responsive than the previous one, with larger buttons and brighter colors that make menu navigation easier. Overall, the system processor is five times more powerful than the old system. In addition, it now allows you to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless apps.
When it comes to software, Toyota’s new suite of Drive Connect apps and programs offers an even more rewarding driving experience. Drive Connect includes cloud navigation (i.e., real-time traffic and work updates), smart assistant and destination assistant.
The Destination Wizard gives users 24/7 access to live agents who can help you search for a destination from any criteria, from the name of a business to a city and/or province. They can then send the coordinates directly to your GPS and easily get you started - just press "Go"! If you don’t have a specific company in mind but are looking for recommendations on local points of interest or restaurants, your agent can also help.
If you’re looking for an even faster one-stop experience, you can use the "Hey Toyota" voice activation feature to find the nearest bakery or sushi bar. All newer and more connected facilities can be added to the system through live updates.

When it comes to the interior, you can turn to the Connected Services which allow you to start your vehicle from your home or office, to pre-condition the air conditioning system so that you are warm (or cool) As soon as you get into your Toyota and the suite will also perform regular checks of the car to ensure that your maintenance program is up to date.
